Have an auto repair-related question? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!

  • Do I have to take my car to a certain repair shop?

You have the right to choose your repair shop! As the vehicle owner, it's your decision where to get your car fixed. Your insurance company's responsibility is simply to cover the cost of the repairs.

  • How many estimates do I need?

You only need one estimate! You can arrange for your truck or car to be inspected by your insurance company at our shop. Alternatively, you can visit the insurance company's drive-in appraisal location, get their estimate, and then bring it to us.

  • Do I pay the repair bill, or is my insurance company responsible?

The vehicle owner is responsible for choosing the repair shop. However, insurance companies are legally obligated to cover the repair costs for their insured. Typically, the insured pays the deductible, and the insurance company covers the remaining costs. If you prefer, you can request that the insurance company pays the body shop directly.

  • Do I have to pay a deductible?

Your deductible is set by your current insurance policy. If you have broad collision coverage, your insurance company may waive the deductible. They will determine fault based on your accident report and the claim you file. If you're unsure about your deductible, contact your insurance company. They can inform you whether your deductible has been waived or if you'll need to pay it when you pick up your vehicle.

  • Does my insurance company require more than one estimate?

No, you don't have to use a specific collision repair facility for your repairs. You have the freedom to choose the repair shop and authorize the repairs. Your insurance company cannot mandate that you go to a particular shop. However, they may want their adjuster to inspect the vehicle and assess the damage. If your vehicle is unsafe to drive, have it towed to our shop and inform your insurer where it can be inspected. We can also assist with any towing or rental car needs you may have.

  • I’ve just been in an auto collision. What’s next?

First, contact your insurance provider to report the accident and obtain a claim number. Once you have the claim number, give us a call, and we'll handle the rest. With the claim number, we can manage the appraisal, repair, and payment processes for you.
